The Clubhouse

At the heart of the Community, the 28,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse is the social hot spot of RiverBend. Enjoy a drink with your friends, relax with a cup of tea on the veranda overlooking the greens, or savour a delicious meal in the Dining Room, prepared by our award winning Executive Chef. To complement your active lifestyle, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to stay fit at the Fitness Centre, with organized fitness classes and a heated indoor pool. The Club also plays host to a full calendar of events and clubs organized by the Community Social Committee, alongside the RiverBend management team. Golfer, gardener, card shark, bookworm, or chef in training - rest assured there is a place for you at RiverBend Golf Community.

Our first year has passed in a blur of activity, and our only regret is that we didn’t know about RiverBend 10 years sooner.

Dining

After a busy day at work or a challenging day on the links, let our Chef do the cooking.  The RiverBend Clubhouse is the perfect spot for a casual bite, a gathering with friends or an anniversary dinner with your sweetheart.  Our Executive Chef offers an array of dining choices and is constantly in pursuit of new and exciting items to add to our menu.

The Clubhouse offers an array of dining areas to enjoy a meal, with a menu selection including delicious appetizers, Club favourites and delightful entrées. You’ll be sure to enjoy the break from the kitchen. 

The 19th Hole is perfect for a quick bite before you tee off or a relaxing break with friends following your game. Enjoy Club classics and favourites as well as Check inspired daily features. 

The Fireside Lounge offers a quiet and sophisticated atmosphere to enjoy your meal and gather by the fireplace . With a vast menu selection including delicious appetizers, Club favourites and delightful entrees, you’ll be sure to enjoy your dining experience. 

The Terrace allows you to enjoy your meal while overlooking the exceptional RiverBend golf course.  This is the perfect setting for a snack after a day on the links or a scrumptious meal in the warmth of the sun.


 

Fitness Facilities

Compliment your outdoor exercise at the RiverBend Fitness Centre located on the lower level of the Clubhouse. Enjoy a leisurely swim, take an invigorating aqua-fit class at the pool, and make use of our diverse selection of work out equipment. You can train on your own, or with our very own Fitness Director.

Fitness classes include aqua-fit, yoga, strength training and seasonal specialty classes. Our line-up of equipment includes; treadmills, bicycles, elliptical trainers, rowing machine, weight gym, dumbbells, BOSU trainers, stability balls, medicine balls and resistance tubing.

All users of the fitness facility participate in an orientation session with our Fitness Director before using the equipment. New residents receive a complimentary orientation.



Social Activities

Life at RiverBend offers an opportunity to reinvent yourself, or to simply spend more time doing the things you’ve always enjoyed.  The best part is it’s completely your choice – be a social butterfly or just take part in social events here and there.  RiverBend residents benefit from a community full of neighbours who are among the same age group, sharing similar interests.

Along with our Clubhouse staff, the RiverBend Social Committee was formed to initiate and facilitate community social activities and events for residents and members of RiverBend Golf Community. These volunteers work hard to organize clubs and activities that offer residents a great way to meet neighbours, develop friendships and enjoy the RiverBend lifestyle.

Carefree Maintenance

RiverBend is private and secure, with a 24-hour gatehouse team that controls access to the Community. Our concierge staff are happy to greet your guests, direct visitors to your beautiful new home, and even watch over it in your absence. If you plan to be away for an extended period of time, you can make use of the RiverBend Home Check service giving you peace of mind knowing that your home is being monitored while you are away.

Residents also enjoy several outdoor maintenance services which include; grass cutting, lawn fertilization, spring/fall garden cleanup and snow removal from front walkways, driveways and common areas. Your shovels and mowers are a thing of the past. Let us take care of the yard work, allowing you more time to do the things that you want to do.
